Their presence and ability to stay afloat are crucial in times of crisis and important in aiding communities to survive and recover from economic shocks and disasters. 

This learning opportunity presents the basic concepts of business continuity and provides tools for businesses interested in developing a practical way forward to remain operational in times of crisis or reopen as quickly as possible.
