What is the Connecting Business initiative all about?
For networks of businesses, disaster risk reduction and disaster management are often high on the agenda – but it is not always easy to know where to start or how to proceed.
By becoming an official Member Network of the Connecting Business initiative (CBi), the programme supported by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), your organization will benefit from technical knowledge and support as well as access to other Member Networks for peer-to-peer learning opportunities to better understand how you can invest in business continuity planning and contingency planning for crises as well as become a trusted partner for government, humanitarian, and development partners.
CBi is open to partnering with existing business networks with at least one champion to engage on the topic of disaster management, from preparedness to emergency response and recovery.
