Introduction to the Humanitarian System for the Private Sector (Recording Available)

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the Connecting Business initiative (CBI) co-hosted a one-hour introduction to the humanitarian system for the private sector. Participants learned about the actors, coordination mechanisms, and relevant legal and policy frameworks that make up the global system of humanitarian response. The webinar concluded with suggestions for how companies can deepen their engagement at the local, national, and global levels.

This event also marked the launch of a new publication from OCHA and CBI, Business Brief: Introduction to the Humanitarian System.
