# <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Catalytic Funding Support for COVID-19 Response and Recovery

A total amount of US$340,000 as <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> catalytic funding is provided to 8 countries where UNDP and <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> supported networks collaborate on COVID-19 response and recovery.

**Specific activities include:**

- Development of COVID-19 response and recovery plans for the private sector
- COVID-19 socio-economic impact surveys
- Information sharing and awareness raising
- Capacity building and support programs to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
- Support to repurpose business operations in support of the crisis response, e.g., producing personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical devices
- Development of online platforms, call-centres
- Private sector contingency and business continuity support
- Policy dialogue and evidence-based policy recommendations
