# <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Progress Report 2019

<span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Progress Report 2019 provides an overview of the achievements of <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> in 2019 as well as the results of the <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Annual Survey.

Some highlights of 2019 achievements include:

- 19 business networks were engaged and supported by the <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Secretariat
- 9 <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Member Networks and their partners addressed a total of 31 crises
- <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Member Networks organized 93 local events and trainings in 2019
- Over 35 million people were reached through media coverage

Some highlights from the Annual Survey:

- Over 90% of the <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Member Networks said <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> successfully raised awareness of and advocated for the role of the private sector in disaster management
- Seventy-three percent (73%) of the <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Member Networks said <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> positively influenced their efforts to address disaster management, and the other 27% said <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> moderately influenced their efforts
- Over 80% of the <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> Member Networks find that <span class="cbi-brand-name">CBI</span> helps them connect and coordinate well or very well with actors in disaster management
